a) Visas for foreigners who have an employment contract with a Brazilian company, institution, organization, or other legal entity based in Brazil;

 

b) Visas for professionals who intend to render services to the Brazilian Government due to an international agreement, convention, contract or similar instrument to which Brazil is a party;

 

c)Visas for professionals who are involved in the transfer of technology (such as laboratory research, field tests or intra-company development, and implementation of software) or in the provision of technical assistance (such as  the installation, modification or repair of machinery or equipment installed or sold to a Brazilian company; training given to Brazilian based personnel of an affiliated company; or recurrent intra-company tasks or services) in Brazil due to contracts signed between a Brazilian and a foreign company or similar legal entities with the consent from the proper Brazilian authorities.

 

d) Visas for foreigners admitted for professional training in Brazil immediately after the completion of a vocational training course or of an academic program, without a working contract or an employment relationship in Brazil;

 

e) Visas for employees of foreign companies admitted to work at a Brazilian affiliated or subsidiary company as trainees or interns, provided that they are paid exclusively outside of Brazil by their foreign company;

 

f) Visas for professors, teachers or instructors who are traveling for a period of training in foreign language instruction;

 

g) Visas for crew members: for the Temporary-V visa there are three different situations, each one has its own specific requirement(s):

1. Visas for crew members who are traveling to work in foreign vessels or foreign platforms operating in waters under Brazilian jurisdiction, without a contract in Brazil;

2. Visas for crew members of foreign fishing vessels leased by Brazilian companies;

3. Visas for crew members and other professionals who perform paid activities aboard cruise vessels along the Brazilian coast, in the Amazon River basin, or in other inland waters.

 

h) Vsas for Professional athletes who have a work contract with a legal sports entity in Brazil.
